Let me introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Jemma Burgess, a foot care professional and owner of Twinkle's Toes Mobile Foot Care providing foot care in the comfort and privacy of your own home. I cover Woodbridge, Ipswich and surrounding areas.
My aim is to improve my clients comfort and quality of life; after all we only get one pair of feet!
I qualified in December 2019 from SMAE institute in Maidenhead in Diploma Foot Health Care. I am a registered member of British Association of Foot Health Care Professionals and I hold an enhanced CRB or DRB certificate. I am fully ensured.

Initial assesment
During Covid 19 I will complete an initial assessment of your personal circumstances over the phone/ email. I will explain how your information is stored and processed and ask for your medical history past and present and any medications you currently take. On attending your home I will check your circulatory function, take pulses in your feet and complete a nerve function assesment. I will complete a visual assessment of your condition and offer advice on how best to treat your issues.
Making your feet Twinkle
I practice very high hygiene standards and prioritise patient welfare and health over all other considerations. I wear a mask on entering your home, disposable apron, examination gloves and use 70% alcohol sanitiser during treatment for protection against foot dust, fungal spores, skin tissue and Covid 19. I thoroughly wash my hands and dry them on paper towel at the beginning and end of treatment. All equipment used is scrubbed in hot water, sterilised above 134°C for 3mins then packed in coded single use sterilisation bags. During Covid 19 where possible I am treating outside or in a well ventilated area such as conservatory or sun room. I ask patients to wear face covers during treatment, when possible.
Conditions treated
Corns, callus, hard skin, verrucas, ingrowing or uncomfortable nails, overgrown, crumbling, unsightly, distorted or thickened nails, fungal nail, athletes foot, dry flakey skin. Split, painful rough or thickened heals. Please dont be ashamed. Nothing frightens me!
Costs and pricing.
Initial assessment - one off payment ( up to 1 hr ) £ 20.00 Treatment appointment - £37.00 ( up to 1.5 hrs) Special medicament appointment prices may vary and will be discussed on an individual basis. Practitioner reserves the right to apply additional parking or distance charges on an individual basis. Cash or bank transfer payment is preferred.
Gift vouchers are available.
Reduction of £5.00 given for two patients treated at same location as same day consecutive appointments (at practitioners discretion)
(Treatment preparations are available from practitioner at additional cost and can be purchased at appointments).
Foot care in progress
I attend your home fully equipped. All you need to prepare is a bowl of hand hot water for hand washing then just select a comfortable chair, a recliner is great, but i am able to use a leg rest if not, and I will do the rest. During Covid 19 this should be either outside or in a well ventilated area.

Environmental Ethics
At Twinkle's Toes Mobile Foot Care we care for you, while caring for our environment. Examination gloves and aprons are biodegradable. Masks are reusable Cambridge Masks, made in Britain. Cotton buds are cardboard and organic cotton and paper products are FCS approved. Plastic is kept to a minimum. Treatment refuse is collected into a biodegradable bin sack.You dont have to compromise your ethics to treat or fix your foot issues.
